The goal is to connect those two clients to the server and ssh from one to another. However, after this, I would never go back or support their company in any way.I have a Ubuntu 16.04 server. Prior to this debacle, I would have seriously considered going back to AirVPN should the IMDb issue be resolved, especially since they're one of the few that I can access Netflix and Hulu through. I find resorting to that to be a terrible business practice, especially for a company that claims to support a free and open internet. Now when I try to log into AirVPN, it says that I am not authorized to view anything. After a third post regarding the issue, they again locked the thread however, they also decided to delete my posts, as well and locking my account. They never responded to any request for that information and simply locked the threads. At least one other user asked for further details as well. Not to mention, I have no issues resolving their DNS outside of AirVPN, including via my current VPN (Mullvad).ĭue to the conflicting information, I responded to their posts on a couple of different threads asking for clarification and further explanation. There is a not a single recent claim of IMDb DNS issues on the web, except for AirVPN. However, it seems that the issue is solely limited to AirVPN. There were quite a few posts to their forums about it, and they claimed that the the IMDb parent DNS servers were configured improperly. However, a few months ago, they started having an issue where IMDb DNS would not properly resolve. ![]() There were a few issues here and there, but they seemed to make an effort to fix issues, or at least adequately explain what was going on. I've had been with AirVPN for years, and overall the experience was good. ![]()
